On 18th Nov 2023, The Rotary club of Antigua, The Rotary club of Antigua Sundown, along with their rotaractors and interactors organised a polio awareness walk. As a visiting rotarian from district 3300, I was fortunate to be able to participate in this noble cause.
It was nice to get to know all of them over bush tea and snacks, a good opportunity to celebrate a World’s Greatest Meal.
A donation of US$100 has been made from my club Rotary Club of Bandar Sungai Petani District 3300 for this WGW.
Contribution to the polio plus fund: US$100.00, transformed into US$300.00 with the matching of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, funds for 2142 vaccines.
