The Antigua and Barbuda Diabetes Association in partnership with the Medical Benefits Scheme hosted a public screening for Diabetes and Hypertension at the All Saints Clinic, which saw over 110 participants.
The Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Antigua were happy to support the efforts of both entities. In expressing gratitude for the longstanding partnership with the association, President of the Rotary Club of Antigua (RCA)- Kevin Silston was pinned by the youngest member of the
Antigua and Barbuda Diabetes Association - Sherifa Peters.
President of the Association Juanita James expressed how thankful she was for the Club’s assistance and that it was a pleasure working with the RCA. The RCA in partnership with FLOW supported the Diabetes Association’s Week of Activities by sponsoring a number of Public Service Announcements.
World Diabetes Day 2020 was commemorated under the theme ‘The Nurse and Diabetes”.
