Rotary Club of Antigua, Institutional Honour, The Most Precious Order of Princely
Heritage (Bronze).
This year, the Rotary Club of Antigua celebrates fifty years of a legacy of doing good works for all of Antigua and Barbuda.
Since its establishment in 1972, it has helped scores of individuals in seeking medical treatment locally and abroad at no cost.
Through its network of Rotarians around the globe of varying professions, it has assisted the less fortunate by providing a plethora of services at no cost to the poor.
The Rotary Club has made countless interventions over its fifty year history that have changed the circumstances of scores of nationals and residents.
Of note, some of the projects in communities across Antigua and Barbuda include the food distribution programme, Rotary Gift of Life , Computer for the World project, Hospital bed at home project and the Sewing project. Of all the elements that contribute to a display of excellence among the Rotarians, their work with schools is outstanding.
Many youth have been influenced to perform highly by the invaluable work provided by the service organization.
The club’s long history and lasting impact on generations of Antiguans and Barbudans have won the praise of all of Antigua and Barbuda.
