A recap of the club's weekly meetings held
On January 6, 2021, the Rotary Club of Antigua held its first meeting for the New Year.  The meeting featured a Classification talk from one of our new members, Rotarian Joel Darroux, who is an Operations Officer in the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU).
 
 
 
 
January 13, 2021- In this closed meeting, President Kevin gave an account of the club’s performance for the six months prior and updated the membership on the planned projects for the second half of the 2020-2021 Rotary Year. The executive members also reported on the performance of their respective areas of responsibility. 
 
  
 
  
 
 
 
 
January 20, 2021- As members gathered virtually for yet another weekly meeting, Rotarian Saran Purcell, the Operations/ Office Manager of Special Security Services, gave her classification talk which featured security management. She emphasized her passion for women empowerment, continuous learning and giving back.  Assistant Governor Evangeline Allen appraised the membership on the recently concluded Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) 2021, which was deemed a success. President Kevin and Past President Ato also gave updates on a number of upcoming projects to include a raffle.
 
 
 
 
 
 
January 27, 2021- the last meeting for the month of January featured a presentation by the President of the Rotary Club of Antigua Sundown- Julian Wilkins and the Public Image Chair- Stacy Cabrall. President Julian highlighted some of the projects executed by his club for the 2020-2021 Rotary Year date to include: The Pediatric Village, School Hand-Washing Project; and the Covid-19 Food Assistance Programme. 
 
Rotarian Stacy gave an update on Rotary Sundown’s current partnership with the Team Antigua Pairs- Atlantic Rowers, where the team (Joseph and Travis) were expected back on island the following day.
