The importance of the upcoming 4th International Conference for Small Islands Development States (SIDS), which will take place in Antigua and Barbuda from May 27th -May 30th, was a major discussion point at our business meeting for our visiting Rotarians and other specially invited guests today.
The role of volunteers in the major conference as well as the various parts that the Club can contribute to the success of the forums were highlighted.
We were honoured to have two distinguished individuals in our midst via the Zoom platform, in the persons of, His Excellency Dr. Aubrey Webson, Permanent Representative of the Mission of Antigua and Barbuda to the United Nations and his Deputy, Mr. Tumasie Blair, who gave details on what can be expected during the conference.
