This month the Rotary Club of Antigua will share critical information in efforts to raise further awareness about Mental Health and Suicide.
This program will educate persons on identifying mental health challenges, in personal life, at the office, church and in social settings.
More importantly, it is designed to teach persons how to help and provide that "first aid" when someone needs it.
Over the next few weeks, the Club will be conducting interviews with local Therapists, Mental Health specialists, counsellors, survivors, persons who have experienced trauma and family members of victims and persons who are willing to share their story for education purposes.
The Finale of the project will be a Scavenger Hunt on October 3. The funds raised will be used to support persons who are likely to seek access to help but are unable to afford it.
