The Rotary Clubsin Antigua executed RYLA 2023 on Saturday, January 14, 2023 under the theme: “Imagine Believe Achieve”.
On a rainy Saturday, January 14th, 2023, over one hundred students from the five Interact Clubs on island and thirteen Interactors and two advisers from Montserrat met as one body for RYLA at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium under the theme “Imagine Believe Achieve”.
This year’s program looked at various topics including leadership, humble beginnings, dining etiquette, mental health & bullying, dressing for success, and resume writing. The speakers included Naeemah Hazelle, Ato Kentish, Alaina Gomes, Stacy Cabrall, Shirlene Nibbs and Laurie Louard.
This year streaming technology allowed for remote access to presentations. This benefitted Antigua and other District 7030 territories as well.
A big thank you to the organizing committee chaired by PP Diana Browne. In the end, we must conclude that it was an amazing, interesting, exciting, interactive and fun-filled day. We look forward to 2024.
