ONDCP receives 250 masks compliments the Rotary Club of Antigua
The Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) is the latest beneficiary of washable and breathable masks, donated by the Rotary Club of Antigua.
President of the Rotary Club of Antigua, Dr. Vanetta Rodgers, recently presented the crime fighting organization with a package of 250 branded masks. 
 
During the brief presentation, President Vanetta explained that the Rotary Club of Antigua recognized the critical role that the ONDCP plays not just in combating criminal activities, but also in maintaining safety and security during the current state of emergency that is being enforced in the twin island state.
 
“We are very pleased to make this donation to the ONDCP and we are thankful for the assistance of the officers in enforcing the laws and the requirements under the current curfew period. We do have an ongoing relationship with the ONDCP, whose Lieutenant Colonel Edward Croft have supported the efforts of the club in educating our members about mitigating against financial crimes and other cyber activities. We hope that this donation will go a long way in protecting the management and staff against the dreaded COVID-19 disease”, she said.
Manager of the Tactical and Surveillance Team, Officer Marlon Proctor, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Rotary Club of Antigua for its kind and timely gesture.
 
He quoted: “The ONDCP has been a member of the Joint Curfew Enforcement Patrol operating from the NODS office at American Road since March 31st 2020. To date, we have participated in 588 hours of joint patrol with the Antigua and Barbuda Defense Force, the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda and the Immigration Department.”   
 
“The gift of 250 masks will go a long way in assisting our officers as they continue to contribute to the national effort in keeping us all safe during this COVID-19 pandemic. We are very grateful and look forward to a continued fruitful relationship with the Rotary Club of Antigua”.
 
The presentation took place at Rotary House in the presence of members of the Rotary Club of Antigua and representatives of the ONDCP.
