
Interactors at the Christ the King High School were all smiles this morning as they unveiled the symbolic "Peace Pole" on the school's compound.
District Governor -DG Brian Glasgow, Acting Assistant Governor - AG Evangeline Allen, President of the Rotary Club of Antigua- Michael Spencer, Director of Foundation- PP Denise Armstrong and Director of Youth Services- Samoya Kirby were present to witness the symbolic ceremony.
The "Peace Pole" is an internationally recognized symbol of the hopes and dreams of humanity displaying the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth".
Each side of the pole bears the message in different languages. It forms part of Rotary's goal of building a culture of peace throughout the world and a reminder to strive for conflict resolution.
