August is Membership and New Club Development Month!
Meet Assistant Governor Evangeline Allen!
As a Past President and Senator of JCI Antigua, I reached my peak in terms of actively chairing projects.  I felt the need to do more, as I am a person of Action and correspondingly to be of service.

I joined Rotary in October 2008 and served on the Board for 9 of the 14 years.  I am presently in my 3rd year as Assistant Governor, guiding the Clubs in Antigua and Montserrat.

Being a Rotarian means that I am able to provide community service to both local and international communities.   Membership allows me to travel and meet people from all over the globe. Over the years, I have made lasting friendships.

I consider myself a senior Rotarian and happily share my passion and pride with the new Rotarians. I exercise empathy, I value discipline, enjoy fellowship and uphold my Rotary Pledge.

I adore Rotary’s Motto of ‘Service Above Self’, and I am also inspired daily by the last tenet in the JCI Creed: ….And that Service to Humanity is the Best Work of Life’.
