Dr. Kwasi Tonge was our featured speaker today during our weekly lunch meeting at Rotary House.
His topic: “Inclusivity & Accessibility – The Social Model of Disability”
He made a passionate and interactive presentation on the delicate subject area of the challenges and work needed to more adequately meet the needs of persons living with disabilities.
He specifically mentioned the need to develop a proper and accessible data base of persons living with disabilities, the renovation and upgrade of the Headquarters and putting more emphasis of inclusiveness at all levels.
