District Governor Sonya Alleyne End of Year Message!
END OF YEAR MESSAGE FROM DISTRICT GOVERNOR SONYA ALLEYNE

Rotary Family of District 7030, what a year this has been. We started the year with uncertainty but we have certainly rallied and come out stronger at the end.

During this year, I visited 71 Clubs in 15 of the 17 countries and territories that make up District 7030. In each, I had the privilege of interacting with members of almost all our clubs (Rotary, Rotaract, Interact and EarlyAct where applicable) and have thoroughly enjoyed the visits. Time with the clubs included visits to projects, one-on-one sessions and fellowship.

Thank you for sharing your Rotary achievements and your friendship. These visits will remain indelibly etched in my mind.

As my journey as District Governor draws to a close, I reflect on the achievements of our Goals as they align with those of RI President Shekhar's and how we have been able to adapt during these past few years. We have shown in diverse ways how we can Serve To Change Lives and pivot to ensure that we are being true to ourselves and our ideals.
Special thanks to the people who have made this year enjoyable - the Chairs and members of the District Committees, the Assistant Governors, the Interpretation and Translation Team , the Communications Team, the Executive Management Team, the Council of Governors and last but by no means least *you* - the members of the Rotary Family without whom it would not have been possible.

It has been an absolutely humbling experience and I consider it a privilege to have served all of you during this year.

Let's turn our thoughts to soon to be District Governor Leslie's plans to take the District to the next level as he stands on the shoulders of our past and as we Imagine Rotary.

May Peace Prevail on Earth as we go about our Service
I remain committed to Serving...
