Wednesday, March 29, 2023 was an interactive Conflict Resolution Training Workshop for the students at the Five Islands Primary School.
Among the topics covered were What is Conflict, A Win/Win Conflict Outcome and the Effect of Perception.
President Ilean Ramsey who facilitated the session encouraged the students to always consider non-violent approaches to managing conflict.
The session was part of the Rotary Club of Antigua , Youth Empowerment Series (YES).
YES is an amalgamation of the club’s youth related projects for the Rotary year.
It’s goal is to address and begin to stymy the ongoing spate of violence among youth in Antigua and Barbuda.
