In observance of World Kidney Day, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 the Club partnered with the Medical Benefits Scheme, the Antigua and Barbuda Diabetes Association, the Renal Society and Monochrome conducted a chronic kidney disease awareness health talk held at the Medical benefits Scheme Headquarters.
Dr. Ian Thomas, Chair of Nephrology Department at Sir Lester Bird Medical Center addressed the gathering on Management of Chronic Kidney Disease, while Ms. Juanita James, President of the Antigua and Barbuda Bar Association, address was Navigating a Healthy Eating Pattern for Chronic Kidney Disease.
Rotary Club of Antigua continues to play its part in educating the general public on chronic kidney disease awareness.
