One of Rotary International six (6) Areas of Focus is “Supporting Education” and with September identified as “Basic Education and Literacy Month” the first project for President Dr. Vanetta Rodgers was a Back to School Initiative which was executed in partnership with Digicel Antigua as the Corporate Sponsor.
A number of back packs with school supplies were distributed to several students in the four school zones during the first week of school, September 3rd and September 5th 2019. A new school term has begun and the Rotary Club of Antigua played its role in ensuring that our nation's youth are well equipped to manage the subjects on the academic calendar.
